English Language Academy has been established since 1988 and is staffed by a team of qualified, dedicated and experienced teachers who are native or bilingual speakers of English. Direct Communicative Technique methods are used throughout. These are currently considered the most effective systems of broadening the students' knowledge of vocabulary, structures and idiom. The English Language Academy is fully licensed as a school by the Malta Ministry of Education, a member of FELTOM and partners with LSI schools. The school prepares students for international examinations such as IELTS, TOEFL and Cambridge examinations. It is also currently the only centre in Malta for the new TOEFL iBT test.
