With an average of almost 600mm per year, annual rainfall in Malta is quite low. Nearly three quarters of this total rainfall falls between October and March. The remaining months are normally fairly dry. We experience very little, if any rain during months of June, July and August. After the middle of August one can expect the first thunderstorms that signal the end of the summer drought. |
