Great success for FELTOM student parties

FELTOM Student Parties 2008

The Federation of English Language Teaching Organisations Malta’s organised parties for English Language Students are encountering great success this summer. As part of their commitment towards their students and the community in general, FELTOM regularly organises alternative entertainment also in the form of non-alcoholic parties. These activities are usually held outside Paceville in open, non-residential areas.

This summer’s parties have met with a great following featuring an average attendance of 1700 students. These parties, which are held at a variety of open-air locations such as Gianpula, the Marsa Sports Club, Buskett and the Aquacentre Beach Club, feature some of Malta’s top DJs and are always held under the supervision of social leaders and animators from FELTOM’S member schools with enhanced security and first-aid facilities at hand.

FELTOM parties enforce a strictly ‘no alcohol’ rule which doesn’t stop them from being highly successful and very popular among the students who enjoy the possibility of meeting and interacting with many other students of different nationalities attending other schools.

FELTOM has always been at the forefront of trying to reduce the impact students may have on residents., The activities it organises are held on the outskirts of residential areas specifically to limit any possible disturbance while at the same time promoting fun-filled but alcohol-free activities for students.

The Federation of English Language Teaching Organisations Malta is a self-regulating association of the major language schools in Malta. It is officially recognised by the Ministry of Education and Ministry of Tourism and holds consultative status with the Malta Tourism Authority.
