
Andrew Mangion President |
Mr Mangion is looking forward to working closely with the Executive Board members and the entire FELTOM membership to continue the hard work that has been achieved in the last year. The key areas that Mr Mangion will be focus upon in 2008 are the continued development of the FELTOM's Accreditation Scheme; the expansion of FELTOM membership within the Maltese Islands; the improvement of standards through working closely with the EFL Monitoring Board; further development of the fast growing EFL industry in conjuction with the Malta Tourism Authority; the expansion of the accommodation supply in Malta for English language students and the need to work closely with local authorities on areas such as visas and industry regulations.

Louis Grech

Director of Studies of NSTS English Language Institute. Served as Secretary for several years on the Executive Board in the 90's and re-elected for the past three years. Responsible for the co-ordination of the TEFL courses, which were re-launched in 2007, and will also assist the president in some of his responsibilities.

Maurice Rizzo

Member of the Executive Board for the third year and has assumed the role of Treasurer and was responsible for co-ordination of Teenagers' activities in previous years. Mr Rizzo will assume the new role of Industry Relations Director, which will include all accommodation issues, security issues and leisure activities and issues

Greg Burrell

Managing Director of Magister Academy since 1994. Member of the Executive Board for the fourth year. Mr Fenech will assume the role of Public Relations Director and assist the President in co-ordinating feedback to the Executive Board.

John Dimech Treasurer |
General Manager of LAL Malta (IELS) since 1993. Member of the Executive Board since 1993 except for 2001 and president of FELTOM from 2004 to 2007. Mr Dimech was the moderator of the Segment Advisory Group of the English Language Segment, a member of the Private Sector Consultative Group within the Malta Tourism Authority in 2006 and 2007, has been a Board Director of the Malta Tourism Authority since September 2006 and was a member of the EFL Monitoring Board within the Ministry of Education in 2007.

Isabelle Pace Warrington

Ms Isabelle Pace Warrington was recruited as an Executive Officer on 1st October 2007 on a full-time basis. Ms Pace Warrington, a graduate of the University of London, has several years experience in the field of education. After relocating to Malta, she taught in one of the country's mainstream schools, as well as in a leading English language teaching institution. Ms Pace Warrington joins FELTOM after serving as ECDL Programme Manager at the Computer Society of Malta, where she managed operations and services for the European Computer Driving Licence (ECDL) range of qualifications. Ms Pace Warrington will be responsible for all administrative aspects, the management of a number of FELTOM’s projects, the implementation of strategies, the establishment of sectorial strategies, administrative support, membership matters and communication, organisation of activities, and she will be the main contact person for operations and services.
